DB12Run was created on the 1st March 2015 having been at a diabetes awards night listening to inspirational stories, people living with diabetes and what they do with the community. Chris Gray started the group there and then and began a walking group for those with type 1 / 2 diabetes a medical condition or those who are looking to get active. The walking group lasted a year having 3 type 1 diabetics as well as many people meet up and go a walk or run every Wednesday and Saturday. The walk jog and run moved to planning and organising fun runs, where Chris thought of events having a passion for running. He wanted to be different, meet new like minded people, raise for charity and bring a community together. on the 22nd Aug 2015 DB12Run held its first fun run and we have never looked back.
